The Ruggedized Night Vision Lens Cap is an optimal choice for device transport and storage. No more worries of loose objects in your bag or kit damaging your lenses. The Ruggedized Night Vision Lens Cap features a pinhole aperture in the center to allow for depth of field modulation as well as restricting light intake to briefly test a device in a lit room. We do not advise continuous use in a lit room or lighted environment. The cover only serves to limit the light intake for brief testing in the same way a normal rubber day cap would. The Ruggedized Night Vision Lens Cap can also be used to protect the lens faces of your device in a force on force environment. The metal construction can withstand more substantial impacts than typical sacrificial lenses. If your device is equipped with Mil-Spec PVS-14 pattern lenses the Ruggedized Night Vision Lens Cap will fit.
